Recently at Digg.com, an article was submitted about the comparison of AMD clock rate vs. Intel clock rate. I know this for years already but for those who don’t know the facts yet, it’s good to read the article.
Ever make this off-the-cuff comment? “AMD is only clocked at 2.8GHz, while Intel is at 4.0GHz! Intel is much faster.” Learn why it’s not such a good idea to say that in the company of those who know.

I can finally smell the scent of Christmas. Today marks the start of Simbang Gabi, a tradition that many Filipinos never fail to practice. Many children go from neighbor to neighbor and sing their christmas carols and hope for early pamasko. Unfortunately, you’ll rarely see our neighborhood welcome carolings nowadays… they say, “mahirap ang buhay ngayon,” which is true anyway. I miss the old times when I was a kid — my cousins and I could gather more or less P200 in one night singing carols around the neighborhood. I pity those kids who sing christmas carols; it just shows how hard to earn money these days.
Anyway, it is Christmas season and we should be all happy about it. Nine days to go! 
Good news, Microsoft Team RSS announced in their blog that they have collaborated with Mozilla to adopt the RSS icon used in Firefox in upcoming version of Internet Explorer, IE 7.
In an attempt to create a standard interface for everyone, the team agreed that it’s in the user’s best interest to have one common icon to represent RSS and RSS-related features in a browser. It wasn’t the first time Microsoft worked with the Mozilla team to exchange ideas and it won’t be the last.
Back in October 8, Microsoft Team RSS posted several designs of the RSS icon to be used in IE 7. I think they were scrapped for good as IE 7 will be using the orange RSS icon of Firefox now.
