Last Tuesday IBM (International Business Machines) celebrated its 60th birthday. It’s proabably one of the most innovative company in the history of computing.
Some of IBM inventions includes the programming language Fortran, magnetic storage, relational database, DRAM cell, RISC chip architecture, fractals, superconductivity, Data Encryption Standard, and more.
IBM has received 29,021 patents in the last 12 years, more than any other company or individual in the world.
