I’m posting this song by South Border because I really like it… I find the chorus alluring.
My gf says it’s lame… of course she’s bias. Apparently this song is the theme song of Mulawin, a fantasy-novel in GMA 7 so she really didn’t like the song as well.
I don’t mind that anyway.
This song is melodic. I find the blending of the rhythm very moving and the clanking beats add some tribal seasoning to this song. When it hits the chorus, the falcetto voice of the lead singer reminds me of the typical hit-maker song of South Border like Kahit Kailan.
Maybe my gf never realize that this song impressed me because it somehow expressed what I felt when I first met her. That particular feeling is so intense that I feel so special yet afraid to confess because we’re like heaven and earth apart. .:sigh:. Thank God I didn’t have to kneel down before her.
Here’s the lyrics… don’t ask for the MP3, I won’t provide one.
You can download it in your favorite P2p whenere you want but I won’t endorse it anyway. Buy the single if you like it.
Ikaw Nga
South Border
Ooohh
Heto na naman
Nag-iisip, minsa’y nagtataka
Nasa ‘kin nang lahat bakit nangungulila?
Wooohh
Wooh
I’m trying to get a Merchant Account to conveniently process all my Credit Card purchases on the internet. As a newbie I don’t have any idea how to get one. I’ve tried Paypal but it’s unavailable in the Philippines. Oh my…. I don’t know if it’s good to use other Credit Card Gateways. Most of them are rather more expensive compared to Paypal. I’ve tried 2Checkout and Ikobo. I’m seeking help through community forums to choose the best one I can get. If I remain unconvinced, then I think I need to toss the coin and choose which one would be more practical.
Duh!
I was locked out of my own blog for more than a week! That’s a shame! I forgot my password so I have to dig the tables of database just to look up the username and password I used in this blog. Oh well.. now I learned my lesson.
The whole week wasn’t that fun. First of all, my quizzes aren’t that great… I just don’t feel like I am doing my best right now.
Things are getting complicated. I have two pending projects and these projects need careful planning and management. These projecsts are both web deployment project. The first one involved massive organization because I am going to do e-business. I will keep it undisclosed for now. The second project involved open-source technology. Basically our goal in this project is to make a community out of talented people who are willing to give their time and wits to our website. Fot the record, Glenn is handling some portion of this project. Right now I’m focusing my attention on the first project because that’s going to be the backbone of the second project.
Although starting a business may sound easy it’s really harder than I had imagined. Making e-commerce works is not as easy as constructing a webpage. It’s more that than, way far from what most people think. You need to be business-literate. (I’m sort of literating myself right now)
Based on my readings and researches, there are so many things you need to complete before you can finally make a business works. To make everything legal you need to register your biz to Department of Trade and Industries (DTI). Registration requires some legal papers and that includes the Article of Incorporation. For our situation, since we are going to be have more than 10 people we might set our structure as non-stock corporation. We are going to get a lawyer to iron out this problem. Once the Article of Incorporation is duly signed we need to verify it in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), yet another processing fee…. and so on.
As far as the cost of getting started is concerned we need to spend 4 digit numbers. Filing fee of Articles of Incorporation is worth P210, filing of By-laws - P210, Membership Book - P320 & Stamping - P50. The registration of business name for corporations under Bureau of Trade Regulation and consumer Protection (BTRCP) is worth P500 and additional P15 Documentary stamp for each application. And that’s not finished… I need to secure my Tax Identification Number (TIN) for income tax, too. ‘Doh! I’ll be taxed! I don’t even know how taxation works. I seriously need an accountant. Thanks God, I have big network of contacts.
That’s only the beginning… after all I need to design the front-end and back-end of the websites. This will be kept secret for now. The front-end would be easy. It will need templating and basic HTML knowledge. The back-end is more complicated. Designing dynamic website has never been easy. I need to integrate ATM/Credit Card gateways and provide a secured shopping storefront. It’s all spinning in my head. Finding a decent Credit Card gateway is already a big challenge since very few 3rd Party gateways offer their service in the Philippines. One perfect example is Paypal. I am so disappointed that their service is not available here in the Philippines. Maybe I have to contact some of my buddies in the US just to take advantage of Paypal’s servive; otherwise, I will get 2Checkout since it’s the most convenient alternative.
To serve the local customers I will need need to implement Payplus+ in my projects too . Payplus is a local ATM gateway developed by Yehey! I predict that I’ll have some sleepless nights in the future.
In addition I might also purchase management a billing software. That’s going to simplify things. Auditing is also important. He need to keep tract of everything. For now all these are mere plans. We’re going to do this slowly but surely.
Now I’m going to sleep… zzz.
